The Giants Community Fund, in partnership with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department, is pleased to host our Fall 2026 Orlando Cepeda Academy! This 8-week program is FREE for all families. Head Coaches and Umpires will be paid by the Giants Community Fund.

This program is for players with previous baseball or softball experience, going into Middle School (6th, 7th, and 8th) or High School, with a desire to try out for their school’s team next season - or they would have that desire if their school had a team.

Beginning the week of September 12th, each team will have one 30 minute long practice prior to one 90 minute Saturday game. Coaches/Parents can register for whichever division they like. All games will be at Crocker-Amazon. 

Equipment will be provided for those in need, SFUSD/CIF rules will be taught/enforced, scores and standings will be kept. In addition, we will be hosting our speaker series with professionals from the Giants front office and beyond!
