Dear Giants Fans & San Francisco Youth Baseball/Softball Community,

The Giants Community Fund, in partnership with the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department, is pleased to host the 3rd Annual Baseball & Softball Academy! This 8-week program is FREE for all families. Head Coaches and Umpires will be paid by the Giants Community Fund.

This program is for players with previous baseball or softball experience, going into Middle School (6th, 7th, and 8th) or High School in the fall, with a desire to try out for their school’s team next season - or they would have that desire if their school had a team.

Equipment will be provided for those in need, SFUSD/CIF rules will be taught/enforced, scores and standings will be kept, and Division Champions will be crowned. In addition, the Giants will send a series of guest speakers from within theorganization to address the players, coaches, and families about the business and sport of baseball…and life.
